Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Go Home by Zhou Sicong was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 360,000.00 (€ 46,132.47), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhou Sicong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lotuses in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,960,000.00 (€ 201,787.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Go Home von Zhou Sicong wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 360.000,00 (€ 46.132,47) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhou Sicong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lotuses im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.960.000,00 (€ 201.787,71).
