This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Lotuses the most expensive artwork by Zhou Sicong that we have observed at auctions so far.
