The work Clatter Rose by Zhong Biao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. It achieved a price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,683.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Zhong Biao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marksman in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 121,000.00 (€ 76,558.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Clatter Rose von Zhong Biao kam im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.683,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhong Biao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marksman im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 121.000,00 (€ 76.558,05).
