This artwork by Zheng Naiguang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Duck sold for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,002.92) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zheng Naiguang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Lotus in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 552,000.00 (€ 54,952.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zheng Naiguang erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Duck für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.002,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Naiguang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Lotus im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 552.000,00 (€ 54.952,92).
