The work Tea in a Garden by Zheng Mukang was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2018. It achieved a price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,162.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Mukang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tea in a Garden von Zheng Mukang kam im September 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.162,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Mukang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
