The work Lady Reading by Zheng Mukang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Mukang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lady Reading von Zheng Mukang kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Mukang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
