Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Snowman by Zhao Yang was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 14,344.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhao Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roma is a Lake in April this year with an auction result of HKD 78,000.00 (€ 79,653.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Snowman von Zhao Yang wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 14.344,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhao Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roma is a Lake im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 79.653,26).
