Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session), which included the work The Heavy Snow by Zhao Yang. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,306.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhao Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roma is a Lake in April this year with an auction result of HKD 78,000.00 (€ 79,653.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Heavy Snow von Zhao Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.306,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhao Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roma is a Lake im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 79.653,26).
