Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Darkness by Zhao Yang was sold in the FIRST OPEN | Shanghai auction at Christies in Shanghai in October 2016. The price achieved of CNY 132,000.00 (€ 17,773.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 90,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhao Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roma is a Lake in April this year with an auction result of HKD 78,000.00 (€ 79,653.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Darkness von Zhao Yang wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 132.000,00 (€ 17.773,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 90.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhao Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roma is a Lake im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 79.653,26).
