This work without title by Zhao Gang was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,846.25), 71% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhao Gang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 472,000.00 (€ 56,589.30).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhao Gang wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.846,25) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhao Gang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 472.000,00 (€ 56.589,30).
