In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work The Desire Of Forest No. 2 by Zhao Bo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,854.38), 54% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhao Bo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Frozen Planet No. 2, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).

Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Desire Of Forest No. 2 von Zhao Bo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.854,38) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhao Bo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Frozen Planet No. 2 beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13) versteigert wurde.
