The work Seven-Character Couplet In Regular Script by Zhang Yuzhao was worth HKD 88,500.00 (€ 10,784.32) to a buyer in November 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Yuzhao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four-Character Couplet in Running Script, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 322,000.00 (€ 32,055.87).

Die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Regular Script von Zhang Yuzhao war einem Käufer im November 2016 HKD 88.500,00 (€ 10.784,32) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yuzhao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Four-Character Couplet in Running Script beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 322.000,00 (€ 32.055,87) versteigert wurde.
