Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphic Couplets by Zhang Yuzhao was auctioned at POLY in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 9,440.00 (€ 1,031.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yuzhao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four-Character Couplet in Running Script in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 322,000.00 (€ 32,055.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets von Zhang Yuzhao kam im Mai 2018 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 9.440,00 (€ 1.031,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yuzhao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four-Character Couplet in Running Script im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 322.000,00 (€ 32.055,87).
