Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hortensia and Peach Blossom by Zhang Xin was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,710.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Xin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hibiscus and Flowering Cassia, which sold at auction in May last year for HKD 107,100.00 (€ 12,715.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hortensia and Peach Blossom von Zhang Xin kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.710,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hibiscus and Flowering Cassia beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für HKD 107.100,00 (€ 12.715,07) versteigert wurde.
