Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Zhang Xin was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,093.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Zhang Xin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Hibiscus and Flowering Cassia was auctioned for HKD 107,100.00 (€ 12,715.07).

Die Arbeit Flowers von Zhang Xin wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.093,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Hibiscus and Flowering Cassia für HKD 107.100,00 (€ 12.715,07) versteigert.
