Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Joyful Time, Blurred by Zhang Xiaotao was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,388.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 140,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Xiaotao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Condom Series: Enlarged Props-Crystal And Fishes 2 in April 2007 with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 47,190.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Joyful Time, Blurred von Zhang Xiaotao wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.388,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 140.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Xiaotao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Condom Series: Enlarged Props-Crystal And Fishes 2 im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 47.190,04).
