In January this year Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Tian'anmen, from Tian'anmen Series by Zhang Xiaogang. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,568.00 (€ 9,724.81), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Xiaogang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 98,035,000.00 (€ 10,340,568.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tian'anmen, from Tian'anmen Series von Zhang Xiaogang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.568,00 (€ 9.724,81) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xiaogang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 98.035.000,00 (€ 10.340.568,27).
