Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Bloodline Series - Big Family: Comrade by Zhang Xiaogang. The price achieved of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 295,709.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Xiaogang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 98,035,000.00 (€ 10,340,568.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bloodline Series - Big Family: Comrade von Zhang Xiaogang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 295.709,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.000.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xiaogang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 98.035.000,00 (€ 10.340.568,27).
