In the Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction, the work Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 sold for HKD 98,035,000.00 (€ 10,340,568.27) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 48,000,000.00. This high result makes Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 the most expensive artwork by Zhang Xiaogang that we have observed at auctions so far.
