Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Two Poems In Kaishu by Zhang Chonghe was worth HKD 352,800.00 (€ 39,075.47) to a buyer in October 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhang Chonghe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy In Regular Script sold at auction in October 2019 with the realized price of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 47,205.29).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Two Poems In Kaishu von Zhang Chonghe war einem Käufer im Oktober 2020 HKD 352.800,00 (€ 39.075,47) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zhang Chonghe; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im Oktober 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 47.205,29).
