The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Zhang Chonghe was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 78,000.00 (€ 9,995.37), 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Chonghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 47,205.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Zhang Chonghe wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 9.995,37) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Chonghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 47.205,29).
