It achieved a price of HKD 81,600.00 (€ 10,456.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Admittedly, works by Zhang Chonghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 47,205.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Zhang Chonghe kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.600,00 (€ 10.456,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Chonghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 47.205,29).
