Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy by Zhang Chonghe. The price achieved of HKD 75,600.00 (€ 9,140.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Chonghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 47,205.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zhang Chonghe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.600,00 (€ 9.140,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Chonghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 47.205,29).
