Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poems in Lishu by Zhang Chonghe was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,902.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Chonghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 47,205.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poems in Lishu von Zhang Chonghe wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.900,00 (€ 9.902,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Chonghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 47.205,29).
