The work Landscape by Zhang Chonghe was sold in the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction at Bonhams in December 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 48,450.00 (€ 5,487.97), 21% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Chonghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 47,205.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Zhang Chonghe wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 48.450,00 (€ 5.487,97) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Chonghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 47.205,29).
