Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape After Dong Qichang by Zhang Chonghe was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 86,250.00 (€ 9,967.97). Admittedly, works by Zhang Chonghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 47,205.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Dong Qichang von Zhang Chonghe wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 86.250,00 (€ 9.967,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Chonghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 47.205,29).
