Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhang Chonghe achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Gongche Notation In Regular Script sold for HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,764.23) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhang Chonghe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy In Regular Script sold at auction in October 2019 with the realized price of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 47,205.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Chonghe erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Gongche Notation In Regular Script für HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.764,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zhang Chonghe; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im Oktober 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 47.205,29).
