Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Zhang Boying was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2023. It achieved a price of HKD 9,600 (€ 1,475), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Boying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 560,000 (€ 48,666).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Zhang Boying kam im April 2023 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 9.600 (€ 1.475) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Boying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000 (€ 48.666).
