Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script by Zhang Boying was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 35,625 (€ 3,903) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000 - 40,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Boying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 560,000 (€ 48,666).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Clerical Script von Zhang Boying kam im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 35.625 (€ 3.903) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000 – 40.000. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Boying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000 (€ 48.666).
