This work without title by Zak Prekop was sold in the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in December 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,400.49), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zak Prekop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Grids, Four Colors in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,297.58).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zak Prekop wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.400,49) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zak Prekop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Grids, Four Colors im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.297,58).
