Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Zak Prekop was sold in the Handle With Care auction at Phillips in an online auction in February 2019. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,295.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zak Prekop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Grids, Four Colors in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,297.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zak Prekop wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion Handle With Care bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.295,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zak Prekop auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Grids, Four Colors im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.297,58).
