Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Port à St Tropez by Yvonne Canu was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2017. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,270.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvonne Canu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crépuscule sur Paris in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 118,600.00 (€ 78,093.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Port à St Tropez von Yvonne Canu kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.270,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Canu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crépuscule sur Paris im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.600,00 (€ 78.093,11).
