Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Fête à St Tropez by Yvonne Canu was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art: Online auction at Christies in London in June 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,416.44), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvonne Canu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crépuscule sur Paris in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 118,600.00 (€ 78,093.11).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Fête à St Tropez von Yvonne Canu wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art: Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.416,44) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Canu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crépuscule sur Paris im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.600,00 (€ 78.093,11).
