Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Pink Flowers On A Table In An Interior by Yvan Theys for EUR 180.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvan Theys achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pink Flowers On A Table In An Interior von Yvan Theys für EUR 180,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvan Theys erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.250,00.
