Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART, which included the work Gestreepte peren no.3 by Yvan Theys. The price achieved of EUR 2,629.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yvan Theys - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gestreepte peren no.3 von Yvan Theys zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.629,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yvan Theys mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert wurde.
