This artwork by Yuichi Hirako achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle auction, the work Memories of My Garden: Adventure 3 sold for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 62,542.28) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuichi Hirako have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bark 62 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yuichi Hirako erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle wurde die Arbeit Memories of My Garden: Adventure 3 für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 62.542,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuichi Hirako auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bark 62 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22).
