Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Paradise by Yuan Yuan. The price achieved of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 39,568.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Yuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blues V in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paradise von Yuan Yuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 39.568,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Yuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blues V im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
