Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Dream Liner No. 6 by Yuan Yuan. It changed hands for a price of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 76,755.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuan Yuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blues V in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dream Liner No. 6 von Yuan Yuan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 76.755,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuan Yuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blues V im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
