Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yuan Yao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Shimmering Lake And Mountain sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,012.36) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Yao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Cantilevered Road To Shu in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,045,000.00 (€ 1,484,357.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yuan Yao erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Shimmering Lake And Mountain für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.012,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Yao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Cantilevered Road To Shu im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.045.000,00 (€ 1.484.357,99).
