The work Boating Along Blue Landscape by Yuan Yao was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 118,921.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Yao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Cantilevered Road To Shu in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,045,000.00 (€ 1,484,357.99).

Die Arbeit Boating Along Blue Landscape von Yuan Yao wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 118.921,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Yao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Cantilevered Road To Shu im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.045.000,00 (€ 1.484.357,99).
