Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Palace in the Moonlight by Yuan Jiang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 86,686.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuan Jiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Inspecting Food For The Emperor, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 382,000.00 (€ 342,232.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Palace in the Moonlight von Yuan Jiang kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 86.686,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Inspecting Food For The Emperor beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 382.000,00 (€ 342.232,57) versteigert wurde.
