Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Yuan Jiang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,995.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Jiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inspecting Food For The Emperor in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 382,000.00 (€ 342,232.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Yuan Jiang kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.995,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Inspecting Food For The Emperor im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 382.000,00 (€ 342.232,57).
