Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yuan Jiang could be acquired at Bonhams in Sydney in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Asian Art auction, the work Summer Hut at a Lotus Pond changed hands for AUD 1,230.00 (€ 1,022.44) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Jiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inspecting Food For The Emperor in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 382,000.00 (€ 342,232.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yuan Jiang konnte im April 2021 bei Bonhams in Sydney für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Summer Hut at a Lotus Pond für AUD 1.230,00 (€ 1.022,44) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Jiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Inspecting Food For The Emperor im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 382.000,00 (€ 342.232,57).
