Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mountain Streams by Yuan Jiang was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 2,080,000.00 (€ 254,042.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Other works by Yuan Jiang have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 382,000.00 (€ 342,232.57) in September 2015 for the work Inspecting Food For The Emperor.
