Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Mao by Yu Youhan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The auction ended at the price of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 113,829.12), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Youhan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 1985-4 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 14,100,000.00 (€ 1,225,342.42).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Mao von Yu Youhan kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 113.829,12) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Youhan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 1985-4 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.100.000,00 (€ 1.225.342,42).
