Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract Colourful Circle (3) by Yu Youhan was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 4,080,000.00 (€ 509,100.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,200,000.00 – 5,200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Youhan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1985-4, which sold at auction in April 2011 for HKD 14,100,000.00 (€ 1,225,342.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract Colourful Circle (3) von Yu Youhan wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.080.000,00 (€ 509.100,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.200.000,00 – 5.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Youhan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 1985-4 beobachtet, die im April 2011 für HKD 14.100.000,00 (€ 1.225.342,42) versteigert wurde.
