Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pink Composition by Yu Youhan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 8,000,000.00 – 12,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 8,880,000.00 (€ 1,002,264.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Yu Youhan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work 1985-4 was auctioned for HKD 14,100,000.00 (€ 1,225,342.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pink Composition von Yu Youhan kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 8.000.000,00 – 12.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 8.880.000,00 (€ 1.002.264,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Yu Youhan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit 1985-4 für HKD 14.100.000,00 (€ 1.225.342,42) versteigert.
