The work Poem In Kaishu by Yu Pingbo was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 302,400.00 (€ 32,376.66), 51% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yu Pingbo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Poems In Kaishu sold at auction in October 2012 with the realized price of HKD 596,000.00 (€ 59,333.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Poem In Kaishu von Yu Pingbo wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 32.376,66) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yu Pingbo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu im Oktober 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 596.000,00 (€ 59.333,23).
