The work Calligraphy, Seals and Landscape by Yu Pingbo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,656.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Admittedly, works by Yu Pingbo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poems In Kaishu in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 596,000.00 (€ 59,333.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy, Seals and Landscape von Yu Pingbo kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.656,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Pingbo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 596.000,00 (€ 59.333,23).
