The work Calligraphy by Yu Pingbo was worth HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,296.76) to a buyer in November 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Pingbo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poems In Kaishu, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 596,000.00 (€ 59,333.23).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Yu Pingbo war einem Käufer im November 2019 HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.296,76) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Pingbo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 596.000,00 (€ 59.333,23) versteigert wurde.
